Local SEO for trades
More of the jobsyou actually want.
When a boiler breaks or a fuse board trips, people search on their phone and call one of the first three names on the map. We get tradespeople into those three, for the jobs and the areas they want more of.
- Electricians
- Plumbers & heating
- Builders & roofers
- Any trade
- emergency plumber st austell
- boiler repair near me
- roofer truro
- builders near me
The problem
Busy with work, but not the right work.
Most trades run on word of mouth, which is great until it isn't. Google is where the next customer looks, and it rewards the trade it understands best.
- 01
Word of mouth runs dry
Recommendations come in waves. When it goes quiet, the work goes to whoever shows up on Google.
- 02
Covering a wide area
You work across ten towns, but Google only shows you near your address. Every other town goes to someone else.
- 03
The wrong enquiries
Lots of small call-outs and price-checkers, not enough of the bigger jobs you'd rather be doing.
- 04
No time for it
You're on the tools all day. Updating a Google profile and asking for reviews never makes it to the top of the list.
What we do
Built around how trades get work.
Everything we do is aimed at one thing: more calls for the jobs you want, from the places you want to work.
- 01
Service pages
A page for every job you want.
Rewires, boiler installs, roofing repairs, extensions. A page for each service you want more of, so Google can match you to the search.
- Service pages
- Emergency pages
- Common questions
- 02
Area coverage
Show up where you travel.
Your profile set up as a service-area business and a page for each town you cover, so you're not limited to the streets around your yard.
- Service areas
- Town pages
- Map-grid tracking
- 03
Proof
Real jobs, real photos.
Before and after photos from your phone added to your profile and website every month. Nothing wins trust like real work.
- Job photos
- Project gallery
- Accreditations
- 04
Reviews
Ask after every job.
A simple text with your review link when the job's signed off. It takes ten seconds and it's what moves you up the map.
- Review requests
- Replies
- QR code for invoices
- 05
Calls
Easy to call from a phone.
Click-to-call on every page, a quote form that asks the right questions, and tracking so you can see which jobs came from Google.

Case study
An electrician and solar installer across Cornwall.
We built Holloway Electrical a website with a page for every service, brand and town they cover, and we run their local SEO every month.
Read the Holloway Electrical case studyWhat local SEO does
From nowhere to the top three.
Each dot is a point on the map where we searched Google. The number is where a business ranks from that spot. Red is nowhere near; green is the top three, where the calls go.

How it works
Clear from day one. Better every month.
- 01
Free video review
We scan where you rank for the searches that matter to you, across the area you serve.
- 02
Build the plan
Quick wins first, then the pages, profile work and reviews most likely to bring in the work you want.
- 03
Fix and build
Your Google profile, website, listings and review routine sorted in the order that moves results.
- 04
Track and improve
Rankings, calls and enquiries reviewed every month, with the next month's work based on the numbers.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
I'm a sole trader. Is local SEO worth it for me?
Often more than for anyone. You can't be everywhere at once, so being one of the first names people see on Google means the right jobs come to you instead of you chasing them.
I work from home. Can I still rank on Google Maps?
Yes. Your Google profile can hide your home address and show the areas you cover instead. Google still uses your location to decide where you rank, so we build coverage outwards from there.
Can you get me more of the bigger jobs?
That's usually the aim. Pages built around the jobs you want, like rewires or full bathroom fits, attract those searches and put off people looking for the cheapest call-out.
Should I use Checkatrade or similar sites as well?
They can help, and a listing there counts as a citation. But you're paying to compete with everyone else on the same page. Your own Google profile and website bring enquiries that are yours alone.
How much of my time does it take?
Very little. We need photos from your phone now and then, and a quick text to each customer asking for a review. We do the rest.
